We love to party. So we think we know how to build one.

HSWRK started in 2018 when Jethro Watson decided Bournemouth needed something different: proper electronic music, zero pretension, and parties built from the dancefloor backwards.
During lockdown, James Herkes came on board. Two DJs who've been behind the decks for over twenty years, sharing a simple view: if the music's right and the crowd's right, everything else follows.
Today, HSWRK is Bournemouth's leading independent electronic music promoter. We don't do generic club nights, and we don't book artists just because their name looks good on a flyer. Every lineup is someone we genuinely want to hear play.
THE SOUTH COAST'S BIGGEST TERRACE PARTY
Suspended 1,000 feet out into the English Channel on Bournemouth Pier. Seven hours of open-air electronic music as the sun goes down over the water.
From afternoon sunshine to dark, hands-in-the-air closing sets under the stars, there's nothing quite like it anywhere on the South Coast.
The pier is home. It isn't the whole story. HSWRK also brings curated sounds to O2 Academy Bournemouth and underground spaces.
AFTER DARK
At 10pm the pier closes.
We normally don't.
After Dark takes the party to Aruba Beach Club until 3am.
It's smaller, later and gives us room to play a little heavier and book some of the artists we've been following ourselves.
